Akimbo Mod Instructions

What Is Akimbo Mode?
Akimbo Mode allows you to unleash the hidden power of fully-auto machine pistols, single-shot hand guns, dual-wielded pistols, semi-automatic pistols

How Does Akimbo Mode Work?
Let’s use the Akimbo (dual-wielding) CZ75 pistols in Call of Duty: Black Ops as an example.  Normally, with both pistols in your hands, you have to pull both the left and the right triggers to fire both pistols, which is cumbersome.  But when Akimbo mode is enabled, you can Rapid Fire both pistols simultaneously just by pressing your fire-weapon button (Right Trigger).  Akimbo eliminates the need to press both buttons, and it adds the power of Rapid Fire to your pistols.  Akimbo Mode is absolutely deadly at a close range.

How Do I Operate Akimbo Mode?
To toggle Akimbo Mode ON, hold the mod switch on the back of the controller, and tap the d-pad left.  The LED's will twinkle, and then LED 4 will stay on to let you know Akimbo is ready to rock.
To change Akimbo Modes using your controller, hold the mod switch on the back of the controller, and hold d-pad left.  Player 4 LED will blink to indicate which mode you are changing to. When desired sub mode is reached, release the mod switch to stop changing sub modes. (Example: Sub Mode 2-Player 4 LED flashes 2 times and stays LIT) If user changes sub modes while playing, the controller will always remember the last sub mode played in before powering down.
There are several different akimbo modes available that allow you to further customize your Akimbo experience:
